The LivePINK Podcast

Welcome to The LivePINK Podcast with Nan Charland.

If you're building a business, leading a team, growing your career, or simply figuring out what's next, you're in the right place.

Each week, we explore the psychology, leadership, practical business strategy, and timeless wisdom that help you make better decisions, lead with confidence, and build a life that actually works.

You'll hear honest conversations about business ownership, leadership, money, productivity, mindset, relationships, and the habits that quietly determine success. More importantly, you'll learn why we do what we do - and how small shifts in thinking can create extraordinary change.

At LivePINK, we believe success isn't measured only by what you achieve, but by the person you're becoming while you build it.

Whether you're an entrepreneur, executive, leader, or someone ready for your next chapter, every episode is designed to leave you thinking differently and taking action.

Because life wasn't meant to be lived halfway.

LivePINK. Life was meant to be lived to the fullest.

For years, Nan’s answer was simple: “I don’t do numbers.” From grocery spending and car insurance to credit card interest, numbers were something she would rather avoid than understand.
Fast forward to today, and knowing your numbers has become one of the things she teaches most.
In this one-year anniversary episode of The LivePINK Podcast, Nan shares some of her own podcast numbers, including a few that made her uncomfortable, and what happened when she stopped judging the numbers and started getting curious about what they were telling her.
We’ll also talk about personal budgets, business scorecards, why “busy” doesn’t necessarily mean your business is growing, and how to choose numbers that actually mean something to you.
You don’t have to become a “numbers person.” You just need to know enough to ask better questions and make better decisions.

What if the things shaping your life aren't your biggest decisions, but the small ones you keep repeating?
In this final episode of The Conversations We Have With Ourselves series, Nan explores the power of patterns, why our brains learn what we repeat, and how both healthy and unhealthy patterns can quietly influence where we're headed.
As The LivePINK Podcast celebrates its one-year anniversary, Nan shares how a nine-month pattern of waiting almost kept her from starting, and how one episode a week ultimately became a year of consistency, growth, and some unexpected lessons of her own.
You'll learn how to recognize the patterns already operating in your life, understand what may be reinforcing them, and begin creating patterns that move you toward who you want to become.
Because the life you want isn't built in the milestone.
It's built in the pattern that gets you there.

Episode 3: Trust Yourself Again
Monday. Next month. January 1st. After vacation.
We love a fresh start. But what happens when you've had so many fresh starts that even YOU aren't convinced anymore?
In this episode of The LivePINK Podcast, Nan explores how to rebuild trust with yourself without making bigger promises or waiting for motivation to return.
You'll learn why smaller commitments can create powerful evidence, how to recover when you don't follow through, and why consistency isn't about never missing. It's about becoming someone who returns.
Because rebuilding trust with yourself doesn't require another declaration.
It starts with one small commitment, kept.
If today's episode gave you something to think about, share it with someone who's working on becoming someone they can count on, too.

You said you were going to do it.
Again.
But somewhere inside, there's a little voice saying, "Sure you are."
What happens when the person you're having trouble believing is YOU?
In this episode of The LivePINK Podcast, Nan explores how the commitments we make, keep, and break become evidence. Evidence that can either strengthen our confidence or slowly weaken our trust in ourselves.
You'll discover why avoidance can feel so good in the moment, how fear, failure, rejection, and even boredom can influence our choices, and why what looks like a discipline problem may actually be something else entirely.
Most importantly, we'll look at how to stop waiting for confidence and start creating the evidence that builds it.
Because if you want to believe yourself again, you have to give yourself something to believe.
If today's episode made you think about a promise you've made to yourself, share this episode with someone who might need the same conversation.

You were motivated yesterday. You made the plan. You meant it.
Then the moment came to actually do it...and suddenly, you didn't want to.
Why does that happen?
In this episode of The LivePINK Podcast, Nan explores what's happening in our brains when motivation disappears, why our present self can have very different priorities than our future self, and how easily we can begin talking ourselves out of things we genuinely wanted.
You'll discover why planning can actually feel like progress, how immediate rewards compete with what we want long-term, and why changing your mind isn't necessarily the problem. The bigger question may be understanding why you changed it.
Plus, we're playing Myth or Truth to challenge a few things we've been taught about motivation and discipline.
If you've ever wondered, "Why can't I just do what I said I was going to do?" this episode is for you.

What if the results you're getting aren't random?
Your life, business, finances, relationships, and leadership are all producing results. The question is: What are those results telling you?
In this episode of The LivePINK Podcast, Nan Charland explores a challenging idea: Your life is perfectly designed for the results you're getting.
Ouch, right?
But this isn't about blame. It's about personal ownership, because personal ownership is where freedom begins.
Nan breaks down four areas that often shape the results we're experiencing:
The decisions we make, or avoid
The systems we've created
The standards we've accepted
The way we lead
If you want more freedom, stronger leadership, financial peace, a better business, or simply a life that feels more intentional, don't start by working harder. Start by identifying what's actually creating your current results.
Because today's results don't have to be tomorrow's results.
And the best thing about design? You can always change it.

Have you ever found yourself avoiding a difficult conversation?
Maybe you hoped the situation would resolve itself. Maybe you needed more time. Maybe you didn't want to hurt someone's feelings or damage a relationship.
But what if avoiding the conversation isn't actually helping anyone?
In this episode of The LivePINK Podcast, Nan Charland explores the hidden costs of avoidance in leadership, business, relationships, and life. From lost confidence and credibility to resentment, frustration, and sleepless nights, avoiding accountability often creates a much larger problem than the one we're trying to solve.
Through the PINK Framework—Purpose, Intention, Nurturing Leaders, and Knowing Your Numbers—Nan shares why difficult conversations rarely disappear, how avoidance impacts leadership effectiveness, and how confidence is built through action rather than certainty.
If you've been carrying a conversation you know needs to happen, this episode will challenge you to stop carrying the weight and start leading with clarity, courage, and integrity.
Because the conversation was never going away.
It was simply getting more expensive to have.
